<p><b>Avanciers</b> is a premier IT Staffing/Consulting organization and we are currently recruiting for a long term contract role for one of our premier client in Canada for <b>Technical Manager – Coveo Implementation.</b></p><p><br></p><p>This is Remote role and client is actively hiring for this position.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Job Title: Technical Manager – Coveo Implementation (Contractor)</b></p><p><b>Duration:</b> 6+ months contract</p><p> <b>Location:</b> Remote</p><p><br></p><p><b>About the Role</b></p><p>We are looking for an experienced <b>Technical Manager</b> to lead the <b>design, development, and implementation</b> of the <b>Coveo Search Platform</b> as part of a digital intranet transformation initiative. The role involves overseeing the full lifecycle — from requirements validation and architecture design to build, testing, and hypercare support. The solution will integrate <b>Coveo</b> with <b>Contentful CMS</b> and <b>ServiceNow</b> to deliver a unified, intelligent search experience across the organization.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>Leadership & Delivery</b></p><ul><li>Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to refine and validate solution requirements.</li><li>Define and document the <b>end-to-end architecture</b>, ensuring seamless integration between Coveo, Contentful, and ServiceNow, with scalability for future sources and use cases.</li><li>Develop detailed sprint and delivery plans aligned with project milestones.</li><li>Lead and manage <b>cross-functional teams</b> (development, QA, DevOps) to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.</li><li>Conduct technical design reviews and serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.</li><li>Oversee environment setup, configuration, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across build, testing, and hypercare phases.</li><li>Maintain comprehensive <b>technical documentation</b> including architecture diagrams, configurations, and integration specifications.</li><li>Support knowledge transfer, adoption, and post-launch stabilization activities.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Required Technical Skills & Experience</b></p><p><b>Coveo Expertise</b></p><ul><li>Proven hands-on experience with the <b>Coveo Search Platform</b>, including configuration, indexing, query pipelines, machine learning models, and analytics.</li><li>Strong understanding of <b>Coveo APIs, connectors, and integration</b> — especially with <b>Contentful CMS</b> and <b>ServiceNow</b>.</li><li>Experience in relevance tuning, result ranking, and usage analytics.</li><li><b>Nice to have:</b> Experience implementing Coveo for intranet solutions and familiarity with <b>CAGR</b> implementation.</li><li><b>Preferred:</b> Coveo Platform Developer Certification.</li></ul><p><b>Integration & Development Skills</b></p><ul><li>Experience integrating <b>Contentful CMS</b> with enterprise search platforms.</li><li>Experience working with <b>ServiceNow</b> APIs, knowledge base integrations, and data synchronization.</li><li>Proficiency in <b>modern web technologies</b> (JavaScript, Node.js).</li><li>Solid understanding of <b>API management, JSON, OAuth 2.0, and SSO integrations</b>.</li><li>Familiarity with <b>Azure Cloud</b> and CI/CD automation pipelines.</li><li>Background in <b>data modeling</b>, <b>semantic search</b>, and <b>search relevance optimization</b>.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Project Management & Delivery</b></p><ul><li>Proven experience leading <b>cross-functional technical teams</b> across development and QA.</li><li>Strong Agile/Scrum background, including sprint planning and backlog management.</li><li>Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation skills.</li><li>Track record of delivering <b>enterprise search</b> or <b>composable digital experience platforms</b> successfully.</li></ul><p></p>
