Tech Manager

Toronto, ON - Onsite

"Total Experience: 6-8 years

Required Skill Sets:

  • Provide architectural guidance, review HLDLLD, and ensure adherence to TCS and client standards.
  • Drive solutioning, technical design decisions, and adoption of TCS accelerators (MasterCraft, Ignio, Jile).
  • Evaluate tools and frameworks to optimize delivery and scalability.
  • Lead, mentor, and upskill cross functional offshore onsite teams.
  • Manage KRAs, career development, performance inputs, and competency building through TCS platforms (iEvolve, Xplore).
  • Oversee onboarding offboarding, project tagging (WON), and resource forecasting.
  • Delivery Governance Own SDLC delivery using Agile DevOps and ensure compliance with TCS QMS, CQUAD metrics, and audit requirements.
  • Manage release planning, sprint execution, defect governance, and documentation. Track effort, productivity, risks, dependencies, and delivery metrics.
  • Client Stakeholder Management Act as primary technical contact for client product owners, architects, and SMEs.
  • Translate business needs into actionable tasks for offshore teams.
  • Provide structured status reporting, RAID management, escalation handling, and coordination across multivendor environments.
  • Operational Excellence Oversee deployments, incident problem management, and RCA preparation.
  • Ensure SLA adherence, ticket hygiene, and stable operations.
  • Identify automation and optimization opportunities to reduce manual effort.
  • Strategic Contribution Support account roadmap, modernization initiatives, and digital transformation programs.
  • Contribute to presales, RFPRFI responses, and estimation efforts.
  • Promote innovation through TCS frameworks (PACE, Cloud AI initiatives).
  • 8-12 years IT experience with strong technical delivery background.
  • Expertise in cloud (AWS Azure GCP), APIs integration, data platforms, and DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, CICD, and enterprise governance processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience in BFSI or large enterprise accounts.
  • Certifications Cloud (AWS Azure GCP), Scrum Master SAFe, ITIL, PMP Prince
  • Key Attributes Delivery focused, detail oriented, and process driven.
  • Strong leadership in onsite offshore execution.
  • Proactive mindset with ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
