About the Company
Our client is a well-established General Contractor recognized for delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use developments across the Greater Montreal Area. About the Project
This upcoming 8-storey, 208-unit multi-residential project is set to begin construction in mid-November 2025. The Superintendent will play a key leadership role on-site, overseeing all construction activities, coordinating trades, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day site operations from mobilization to project completion.
Coordinate and supervise all subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project plans.
Maintain construction schedules, anticipate and resolve delays, and report progress to the Project Manager.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with drawings, specifications, and building codes.
Lead and enforce site safety programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and CNESST regulations.
Conduct site meetings, monitor site documentation, and manage project logs (daily reports, inspections, RFIs, etc.).
Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, Site Engineer, and Quality Control teams to deliver the project on time and within budget.
Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and proactive issue resolution.
Qualifications
Minimum 7–10 years of experience as a Site Superintendent on multi-residential projects ($30M+ range).
Proven track record in managing mid- to high-rise project developments.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Deep understanding of construction sequencing, drawings, and specifications.
Proficient with construction management software (Procore, MS Project, or equivalent).
Bilingual in French and English is mandatory
Valid ASP Construction safety card.
