About the Role
We are looking for a Co-op student to support Brookfield Renewable's Global Development team for the winter term. The Global Development team leverages Brookfield's global experience and scale to support investment and asset management teams across the full development lifecycle. In this opportunity, the student will work with internal stakeholders to drive improvements in our global development pipeline reporting process and support the Global Development team's high-impact initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Work with Global Development and Finance to identify opportunities to streamline our global development pipeline reporting process;
Leverage our global database to collect and present key trends and KPIs across our portfolio businesses;
Track and report on benchmarks (CapEx, OpEx, DevEx, etc.) to inform model assumptions and analyses;
Support development due diligence efforts for new M&A opportunities;
Monitor trends in key markets and identify opportunities for the development of wind, solar, and battery storage projects;
Contribute to the development and rollout of ad hoc initiatives to support Global Development and Asset Management.

Knowledge and Experience Required
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Self-motivated, proactive and demonstrates initiative.
Excellent knowledge of excel (pivot tables, look up lists, graphing).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
Experience with managing and reporting on large datasets is preferred.

Note: Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Brookfield's identity. This position requires the employee to be on-site for a minimum of 4 days to perform most effectively.
