By leveraging cutting-edge technology and proven project management practices, we consistently deliver high-quality infrastructure projects, regardless of their scale or complexity. </p><p> </p><p>If you're ready to be part of a team that plays a pivotal role in Ontario's most impactful infrastructure developments, while gaining hands-on experience with industry-leading projects, we invite you to join us. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> </p><ul><li>Maintains a healthy and safe work environment, ensuring that proper protocol is implemented by craft and all other personnel on site. </li><li>Assists in planning, scheduling, and execution of construction activities including supervision of crews and equipment. </li><li>Assists with quality control and specifications as per contract requirements. </li><li>Prepares correspondence with owner and consultants for review. </li><li>Maintains plans, specifications, costs, material estimates, subcontracts, and reports to ensure latest issues are distributed and communicated as required. </li><li>Coordinate’s procurement of construction materials ensuring timely delivery and accuracy of purchase orders. </li><li>Ensures project cost requirements are met and coding procedures are followed. </li><li>Expedites progress payment certificates, final payment certificates and all extra-work orders as per contract. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Key Qualifications/Requirements</strong> </p><ul><li>Post-Secondary education from a registered Engineering/Construction discipline. </li><li>2-3 years of experience working as a Project Coordinator in the construction industry, preferably ICI construction. </li><li>Knowledge of and experience working with BIM, AutoCAD and Revit. </li><li>Excellent knowledge of contracts, industry practices and work codes. </li><li>Strong organization and time management skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision. </li><li>Problem solving and troubleshooting knowledge. </li><li>Ability to manage and facilitate numerous projects simultaneously. </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Self-motivated, self-dedicated, and results oriented. </li><li>Ability to work with tight deadlines, multitask and follow up. </li><li>Strong computer skills, using MS Office. </li><li>Flexibility to work varying schedules. </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>What AMICO Can Offer You</strong> </p><ul><li>Competitive Salary </li><li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance </li><li>Employer Matching Retirement Program </li><li>Life insurance </li><li>Access to mentorship programs </li><li>3 weeks' vacation </li></ul><p> </p><p><em>At Amico, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
