The Senior Marketing Manager at ODL plays a pivotal role in shaping how our brands, products, and innovations connect with customers across Canada. This leader drives national marketing initiatives that generate demand, strengthen brand presence, and support revenue growth across diverse product categories and distribution channels.

From leading successful new product launches to orchestrating integrated omni-channel campaigns and high-impact tradeshows, this role blends strategy, creativity, and data-driven decision-making to deliver measurable business results.

In addition to owning key strategic initiatives, the Senior Marketing Manager leads and mentors a small team of Marketing Managers while partnering closely with Sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. Together, you'll develop and execute marketing strategies that support growth across 1-Step, 2-Step, Lumberyards, and other priority channels.

The Impact You'll Drive:

  • Lead strategic product marketing initiatives, including annual planning and execution of successful new product launches.

  • Develop and execute omni-channel marketing campaigns aligned with revenue goals and performance benchmarks.

  • Direct the creation and delivery of the annual product catalog(s), and other collateral, ensuring strategic alignment and timely execution.

  • Manage tradeshow(s) strategy and execution to showcase innovations and strengthen customer relationships.

  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to inform and refine marketing strategies.

  • Track and report on marketing performance using KPIs, ROI analysis, and customer feedback.

  • Ensure brand consistency and compliance across all marketing materials and communications.

  • Align marketing initiatives, product launches, and sales enablement tools with overall business priorities through cross-functional collaboration.

  • Lead and mentor a small team of Marketing Managers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.

  • Manage assigned marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation and adherence to financial parameters.

  • Engage directly with customers and channel partners to gather insights and continuously refine marketing strategies.

What Sets You Up for Success:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • 7+ years of experience in channel marketing, ideally within building products, construction, or manufacturing industries.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies that drive growth.

  • Strong collaboration skills with experience partnering with Sales teams to align marketing efforts.

  • Demonstrated expertise in analyzing market data, customer trends, and performance metrics to optimize strategy.

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, including mentoring junior staff.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and marketing analytics platforms.

  • Experience working with builders, dealers, contractors, and multi-family developers in a channel marketing capacity.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment.
