What Youll Do:

• Develop a marketing strategy for social media
• Manage all social media accounts
• Create a video strategy for social media
• Update social media content on website such as blog posts
• Create reports, newsletters and other online material
• Create a content Calendar
• Oversee the company internal newsletter
• Develop digital content to increase community engagement online
• Create successful social media ad campaigns that will generate sales/leads
• Design marketing materials according to branding guide
• Set KPIs and report on performance of content
• Gather, research and prepare communications material
• Develop portfolio of marketing materials
• Create visually appealing content that aligns with brand guidelines
• Organize SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase website traffic
• Coordinate content management systems to ensure timely updates and relevant content distribution
  
  

What Makes You Stand Out:

• Experience in social media management; confident in creating social media posts and managing business pages & profiles
• Capacity to generate content with strong editing and proofreading skills with an emphasis on business writing Ability to create digital media including graphic designs, videos, and photos an asset
• Has great energy, enjoys creating content independently or collaborate with other team members
• Confidence to take the lead and guide or train other team members when necessary
• Is self-motivated and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects and resources
• Proficiency in Google Ads and experience with performance marketing strategies
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
• Familiarity with graphic design tools for creating engaging marketing materials
• Knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and reporting
• Basic understanding of JavaScript for website enhancements
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Must Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communication Design, or a related field, or a college diploma in Graphic Arts
• A strong portfolio showcasing relevant skills and experience will be considered
• Canadian Citizenship/legally able to work in Canada.
