Technical Support Specialist (Tier 1,2,3 Managed Services)


Hybrid: Home + Field + Occasional Office

Location: Langley to Abbottsford

Full-Time Permanent


A growing technology services firm in the Lower Mainland is hiring a Tier 2 Technical Support Specialist to support a diverse managed services client base across the Fraser Valley. This hybrid role blends remote troubleshooting, onsite client visits, and project deployments in modern cloud and on-prem environments.

What You'll Be Doing:

Remote Support (Work-from-Home Days)

  • Tackle escalated tickets from the helpdesk team
  • Troubleshoot user, workstation, and software issues
  • Support Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra, Intune, and related tools
  • Work with PSA and RMM tools in the N-able/Datto ecosystem
  • Prep for field deployments and document issue resolutions
  • Collaborate with the engineering team on tougher problems


Field Support (Client Sites - Abbotsford, Langley, Surrey, Chilliwack, Mission, Maple Ridge)

  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting and tech support
  • Install, replace, or configure:
  • Workstations and desktops
  • Network devices (firewalls, switches, access points)
  • Servers and infrastructure hardware
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact onsite
  • Run basic assessments, health checks, and post-deployment validation


Project Deployments

You'll gain exposure to or lead:

  • PC refreshes and workstation rollouts
  • Microsoft 365 and cloud integrations
  • Azure AD/Entra + Intune deployments
  • SharePoint and Teams configurations
  • Firewall installs and small network builds (VLANs, switching, Wi-Fi)
  • VMware/vSphere deployments and updates
  • Server installs and migrations
  • Data protection using Datto and Veeam



What You Bring

  • 2-5 years of experience supporting SMB or MSP environments
  • Solid foundation in Windows desktop and server systems
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Microsoft 365 + Azure + Cloud Administration
  • Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, switches, firewalls)
  • RMM/PSA tools (N-able, Datto, ConnectWise, etc.
  • Backup/DR platforms
  • Firewalls (Fortinet, SonicWall, or similar)
  • Strong communicator, confident with clients
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Based in the Lower Mainland or Fraser Valley (required)


Bonus Points for:

  • VMware/vSphere
  • Server Install, configs, and small migrations
  • Deeper Network knowledge in things like DNS, DHCP, VLANS, APs
  • Datto or Veeam
  • ConnectWise
