Our client, a leading professional services firm, is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join their growing practice. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced tax professional to lead complex engagements, mentor a team, and work directly with a diverse portfolio of clients.

What You'll Do
Lead tax consulting engagements including corporate reorganizations, estate planning, estate freezes, and tax dispute resolution
Review tax compliance and election forms arising from tax planning engagements
Research and analyze complex technical tax issues and prepare recommendations
Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members
Review legal documents from a tax perspective to implement reorganizations
Develop strong client relationships, delivering timely, high-quality service
Collaborate with other service areas to provide integrated client solutions
Participate in business development and contribute to thought leadership through tax articles and presentations
What We're Looking For
CPA designation in good standing
Completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course
8+ years of public accounting experience with specialization in tax
Strong technical background in Canadian taxation, including corporate and personal tax, trusts, reorganizations, and estate planning
Proficiency with TaxPrep, CaseWare, and MS Office
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues clearly
Strong project management and organizational skills with a track record of meeting deadlines
