As a display systems engineer, you will play an important role in testingawia and validating the visual quality of Qualcomm’s display features.</p>
<h3><b>Key Responsibilities</b></h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead the development and integration of visual quality testing for display features, including display stream compression for AR/VR, bandwidth compression, panel overdrive, and numerous display power saving features.
<ul>
<li>Design and conduct double-blind visual quality subjective tests with multiple observers, analyze and present the results to diverse teams.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain testing procedures across display device types, including PC monitors, TVs, AR нәтиهای headsets, smartphones, tablets, etc.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Assist in the development of testing procedures for power profiling of display features.</li>
<li>Work closely with cross‑functional teams within Qualcomm to develop the next generations of bandwidth compression.</li>

<ul>
<li>Strong understanding of human perception, image quality, display technologies and subjective test development.</li>
<li>Strong programming skills with Python or C/C++.</li>

<h3><b>Minimum Experience</b></h3>
<ul>
<li>1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.</li>
<li>1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.</li>
</ul>
<h3><b>Minimum Qualifications</b></h3>
<ul>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
<li>Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.</li>
<li>PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.</li></ul>

<h3><b>Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:</b></h3>
<p>$90,400.00 - $135,600.00</p>
<p>The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales‑incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
