<p>Job Description</p><p><b>Project Manager</b></p><p><u>Location:</u> Winnipeg, MB</p><p><u>Industry:</u> General Contractor, Commercial Construction</p><p><u>Specializations:</u> New Build & Tenant Improvement</p><p><b>Salary:</b> $120,000 - $130,000</p><p>Our client is an established Canadian Commercial Builder with operations across Canada.</p><p><b>Position Description</b></p><p>The Project Manager leads, directs, and coordinates the overall management of multiple projects.</p><p><b>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Develop a high-performance team through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring. Ensure regular feedback is shared with staff, including timely completion of employee performance appraisals.</li><li>Understand and administer contract and subcontract agreements.</li><li>Foster and enhance owner, architect, subcontractor, and vendor relations.</li><li>Establish, update, and communicate the Master Project Schedule and manage its implementation.</li><li>Work with the Preconstruction team in the development of projects.</li><li>Manage budget and financial reporting, interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to the project budget.</li><li>Manage the Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA / QC) Program.</li><li>Oversee field operations and engineering processes and procedures.</li><li>Drive competencies related to insurance, labor relations, and employee relations.</li><li>Enforce safety protocols among project staff.</li><li>Coordinate with Accounting to initiate the Pay Application process and follow up to ensure timely payments.</li><li>Keep management informed on project progress and budget through regular Operation Review Meetings (ORMs).</li><li>Support and promote the utilization of various initiatives and technologies.</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree and / or PMP certification preferred.</li><li>At least 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of construction costs, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, engineering principles, and accounting principles.</li><li>Proven written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant computer applications.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.</li><li>Experience implementing technologies like Building Information Models (BIM) and Lean methods.</li><li>Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><b>Salary & Benefits</b></p><p>Competitive salary, extended benefits, growth opportunities, flexible work environment, continuous training and development, RRSP matching, and a paid day off for your birthday.</p><p><b>Similar Job Titles</b></p><p>Project Manager, Construction Project Manager, Commercial Project Manager, Project Director, Construction Manager</p><p>Interested?</p><p><b>Apply below</b></p><p>Only applicants with the legal right to work in Canada will be considered.
