Senior Project Accountant
Job Description
Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Project Accountant on behalf of our client based in Vancouver. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organization where you will play a key role in managing financial aspects of multiple projects and supporting strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle project accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
Prepare and analyze project financial reports and variance analysis
Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Work closely with project managers and senior leadership to provide financial insights
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
Assist with process improvements and financial system enhancements
Qualifications:
CPA designation (completed or in progress) preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of project accounting or related experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
