<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Technical Leadership : Lead projects and provide expertise in building code compliance and fire safety engineering practices.</li>
<li>Business Development : Cultivate client relationships and identify opportunities for growth in fire engineering and building code compliance services.</li>
<li>Project Management : Manage project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client expectations.</li>
<li>Alternative Solutions : Develop performance-based alternative solutions and facilitate their approval process.</li>
<li>Team Leadership : Mentor and guide junior staff, contributing to their professional development and growth.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience : Minimum 10 years in building code compliance and developing performance-based alternative solutions, ideally in a consulting environment.</li> <li>Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in civil or mechanical engineering, architecture, or related fields; P.Eng. designation is preferred.</li>
<li>Regulatory Knowledge : Deep understanding of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.</li>
<li>Business Acumen : Strong ability to identify opportunities, build relationships with clients and authorities, and exercise sound judgment in project management.</li>
<li>Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at managing complex situations and resolving conflicts.</li>
<li>Leadership Qualities : Proven track record in leading teams, managing projects, and achieving results in a fast-paced environment.</li>
