In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize <strong>data solutions, dashboards, and reports</strong> leveraging <strong>Microsoft Fabric</strong>, <strong>Power BI</strong>, and <strong>Azure Data Services</strong> to enable advanced analytics and business intelligence capabilities across the organization.</p><ul><li>Design and implement scalable data solutions using <strong>Microsoft Fabric</strong>.</li><li>Create and maintain data models and semantic layers to support analytics and reporting.</li><li>Develop and support interactive <strong>Power BI dashboards</strong> and <strong>Paginated Reports</strong>.</li><li>Integrate data from multiple sources into <strong>OneLake</strong>, ensuring data quality, governance, and security.</li><li>Collaborate with BI developers and business stakeholders to deliver efficient, scalable solutions.</li><li>Optimize performance of data solutions and troubleshoot issues in complex environments.</li><li>Implement best practices for data architecture, ETL/ELT processes, and metadata management.</li></ul><p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS </strong></p><ul><li><strong>5+ years</strong> of experience in data engineering or related roles.</li><li>Strong expertise in <strong>Microsoft Fabric</strong>, <strong>Power BI</strong>, and <strong>Azure Synapse Analytics</strong>.</li><li>Proficiency in <strong>SQL</strong>, <strong>DAX</strong>, and <strong>Power Query (M)</strong>.</li><li>Experience with <strong>data <span >warehouse/lakehouse</span> architecture</strong>, <strong>Azure OneLake</strong>, and <strong>Delta Lake</strong>.</li><li>Solid understanding of <strong>data governance</strong>, <strong>security</strong>, and <strong>compliance</strong> in cloud environments.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an <strong>agile environment</strong>.</li></ul><p><strong>PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with <strong>Python</strong> or <strong>Spark</strong> for data transformation.</li><li>Knowledge of <strong>machine learning pipelines</strong> and <strong>AI integration</strong> in Microsoft Fabric.</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>CI/CD for data solutions</strong> and <strong>DevOps practices</strong>.</li><li>Microsoft certifications such as <strong>Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate</strong> or <strong>Azure Data Engineer Associate</strong>.</li></ul><p><strong>WHAT WE OFFER </strong></p><ul><li>Competitive salary and benefits package.</li><li>Opportunity to work with cutting-edge <strong>Microsoft Fabric</strong> technology.</li><li>Collaborative and innovative work environment.</li><li>Professional development and support.</li></ul><p>Black & McDonald welcomes and encourages applications from persons with disabilities.
