Job Description


As a Full-Time Seasonal Parts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at our facility. Involving assistance with parts-related tasks, this position is all about people, so your expertise is essential to create the experience our customers have come to know and love about Western Tractor.


Job Details
  • Full-time seasonal from March to October with possibility of extension
  • 40 hours per week
  • Days of work will vary from Monday to Saturday of each week based on flexibility and operational needs
  • Required to work statutory holidays when scheduled




Customer Service: Assist technicians with parts inquiries, picking orders, customer loading, and some light deliveries.


Merchandising & Promotions: Assist with preparing and maintaining merchandising displays. Promote dealership specials and merchandising campaigns.


Inventory Management: Perform perpetual cycle counts for parts inventory. Order and receive parts from suppliers as required.



Shipping and Receiving: Receiving and picking stock while maintaining organization of the warehouse.



Team Collaboration: Ensure seamless communication and provide general administrative support to all departments within the dealership. 

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent GED. 




Experience: 1-2 years of customer service experience and a farming background are assets.



Technical Skills: Computer skills with demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite and windows-based applications.



Soft Skills: Attention to detail, strong time management, ability to multitask, excellent verbal and written communication skills.



People-Focused: Team player, with a friendly, professional attitude and focus on providing exceptional customer service.
