Job Overview:

The SEO Manager owns and drives the SEO strategy for 123Dentist, ensuring best-in-class technical SEO, local optimization, and content performance. This role will collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams like web development, content, social, & data analytics and the agency partners to deliver measurable growth in organic visibility and conversions. This role requires detail-oriented, proactive, and an expert in data-driven insights

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead the SEO Program for 123Dentist, covering both clinic websites and the brand site.
  • Oversee and manage SEO agency/vendor partnerships, providing strategic direction, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring initiatives deliver measurable business impact.
  • Develop and execute advanced technical SEO strategies, ensuring site health, crawlability, and optimal page experience.
  • Regularly test hypotheses and run SEO experiments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Conduct comprehensive audits and implement improvements for site architecture, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Partner with content, social, and web teams to ensure alignment and SEO best practices across all digital touchpoints.
  • Manage Google Business Profiles and local SEO initiatives to maximize local pack visibility.
  • Monitor and analyze performance using tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Atarget="_blank" hrefs, SEMrush, BrightLocal and others.
  • Prepare and present SEO performance dashboards and actionable insights to leadership.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging technologies (AI SEO) to keep 123Dentist at the forefront of SEO innovation. Stay current with SEO and local search trends, Google algorithm updates, and emerging best practices

Education, Credentials, Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with a strong focus on technical SEO and multi-location optimization.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience managing SEO agencies and vendors with a focus on performance and results.
  • Proven track record of leading SEO programs and delivering measurable results.
  • Expertise in site architecture, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and advanced technical troubleshooting.
  • Experience running SEO tests and experiments to validate strategies.
  • Strong understanding of search algorithms, ranking factors, and evolving best practices.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools: Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Atarget="_blank" hrefs, SEMrush, and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English and French) is required.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in GA4, Looker Studio, or similar reporting tools.
  • Curious, adaptable, and passionate about continuous learning and innovation.
