<p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>Posted Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 4:00 a.m.</p><p>Provides excellent customer service in all aspects of warehouse responsibilities</p><ul><li>Handles all incoming shipments from third party distributor and inter-store merchandise transfers</li><li>Scans, packs, and loads all outgoing inter-store transfers</li><li>Receives and organizes all incoming product ensuring all quality and quantity standards are achieved 100% as outlined in the “First to the Floor, First to Sell” policy and procedure manual</li><li>Ensures quantity and/or quality discrepancies are accounted for and adjusted appropriately</li><li>Participates with the store team in achieving all aspects of service, store readiness, merchandising and restocking of product, store cleanliness, control of assets, health and safety practices and compliance with Sporting Life policies</li><li>Maintains all warehouse processing and stock areas to ensure they are well organized and that all goods are easily accessible at all times</li><li>Performs replenishment functions ensuring all goods are “floor ready”</li><li>Promotes the Sporting Life House Philosophy</li><li>Performs other related duties as required</li><li>Adheres to the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), specifically Employee’s Responsibilities (Section 28)</li><li>Uses or wears equipment, protective devices or clothing that Sporting Life requires</li><li>Reports all hazards to the Department/Store Manager</li><li>Follows all safety related rules, instructions, or signage at all times</li><li>Reports any absence of or defect in equipment or protective devices to the Department/Store Manager</li><li>Operates equipment only upon being trained on the equipment</li><li>Promotes health & safety consistently in all aspects of the business</li></ul><p><b>Essential Requirements and Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Excellent organizational skills</li><li>Self-starter with the ability to work independently, produce results under pressure and meet deadlines</li><li>Good written and oral communication skills, including good penmanship</li><li>Attention to detail, 100% accuracy</li><li>Able to lift carton/bags in excess of 30lbs</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work well with others in a team environment</li><li>Basic P.C., AS400 and Purolator On-Line System, scanner, ticket machine, pricing equipment would be an asset</li></ul><p><b>Who We Are;</b></p><p><b>Who We Are;</b><br/>Sporting Life is a leading, iconic Canadian sports lifestyle retailer.
