Our client provides a competitive compensation package and this is a 6-month full time contract. Current certificate of registration from College of Nurses of Ontario (RPN) and be able to provide a copy of the nursing license to indicate good standing.</p><p></p><p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities</strong></p><p>• Utilize sound nursing practice principles and Provide nursing care in accordance with policy, physician&#39;s orders, the resident plan of care</p><p>• Identify the needs of residents and develop and maintain appropriate care plans </p><p>• Ensure a timely and accessible admission for the residents</p><p>• Ensure the supply, control and safe keeping of drugs and narcotics, ensure protocols are followed on all assigned shifts</p><p>• RPN - Diploma in Practical Nursing, current registration as Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario</p><p>• Sound nursing knowledge in geriatric care and nursing administration</p><p>• Knowledge of the requirements of the Nursing Home Act and Regulations, the appropriate sections of the Health Disciplines Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Pharmacy Act, Food & Drug Act</p><p></p><p>If you are interested and qualified, please click apply!</p></p></p></p>
