Job Description

HealthOPM is seeking a Registered Nurse with proven fluoroscopy-based procedural experience to support interventional pain specialists in outpatient clinic settings. This role is strictly suited for nurses who have worked directly within fluoroscopy or image-guided procedure environments and are confident assisting with procedural sedation, patient monitoring, and rapid patient turnover in short-stay clinical care.

Part-time weekday role offering $40–$47/hour, with daytime scheduling and ongoing clinic opportunities.

Clinical Focus

The nurse will be actively involved in supporting fluoroscopy-guided pain procedures from preparation through recovery, ensuring safe patient care, efficient procedural flow, and strict adherence to radiation and clinical safety protocols.

Primary Responsibilities

Patient Intake & Preparation

Perform focused assessments and review relevant medical history

Establish IV access and obtain baseline vital signs

Prepare patients for interventional pain procedures

Provide pre-procedure education and reassurance

In-Procedure Support

Assist physicians during fluoroscopy-guided interventions

Support sterile setup and safe patient positioning

Monitor vitals, sedation tolerance, and patient response

Follow all radiation safety and procedural protocols

Recovery & Discharge

Monitor patients post-procedure until stable

Provide aftercare instructions and discharge guidance

Maintain clear and accurate EMR documentation

Strict Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN), active and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario

Hands-on experience working in fluoroscopy or image-guided procedural settings (mandatory)

Prior experience in pain clinic, interventional clinic, radiology, OR, or procedural environment

Strong IV insertion and patient monitoring skills

Comfortable supporting procedural sedation workflow

Able to travel between clinic locations as scheduled

Important: Candidates without fluoroscopy or image-guided procedural experience will not be considered.

Monday to Friday daytime hours (approx. 8:00 AM – 4:00 / 4:30 PM)

$40.00 – $47.00 per hour
