• Every other Monday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
• Tuesday: 3:00pm – 7:00pm
• Wednesday: 3:00pm – 8:00pm
• Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
• 1-2 Saturdays per month: 9:00am – 2:00pm

Job Overview

We are seeking a caring, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about preventive care, educating patients, and building lasting relationships that support long-term oral health. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care including assessments, scaling, root planing, polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
• Perform periodontal evaluations and document findings accurately.
• Take digital radiographs according to practice protocols.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment plans.
• Maintain strict infection control and sterilization procedures (IPAC compliance).
• Collaborate closely with dentists and the clinical team to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient charts using (Practice Management Software).
• Ensure operatory cleanliness, organization, and readiness for each patient.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive patient experience at every visit.

Qualifications

• Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).
• Completion of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification (required).
• Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive care.
• Experience with digital radiography and hygiene-specific tools.
• Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix, Tracker, Abeldent, Paradigm, Cleardent, or similar (asset).
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Strong attention to detail, clinical accuracy, and infection-control compliance.
• Positive, compassionate, and team-oriented approach.

Compensation

• Pay Range: $47.00–$53.00 per hour
• Compensation is commensurate with experience and skills.
