We are looking for a Recruitment & Onboarding Clerk to support our busy hiring season. What You'll Do
As a Recruitment & Onboarding Clerk, you will play a key role in creating a smooth onboarding experience for new hires. You will:
- Administer and oversee the entire onboarding process for new employees
- Initiate background checks and coordinate medical testing
- Ensure all onboarding documents, forms, and training requirements are completed
- Upload essential documents into the appropriate HR systems
- Serve as the first point of contact for new hire questions
- Enter new hire information into HR systems accurately and efficiently
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information
- Provide new employees with guidelines, passwords, and support materials
- Collect, organize, and process onboarding documentation
- Track onboarding progress and keep all stakeholders informed
- Support hiring managers, HR staff, and other departments as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What You Bring
- Strong communication skills — written and verbal
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Teams, Outlook, and Office 365
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast paced, shifting environment
- Strong problem solving and conflict management skills
- Friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with employees
- Ability to empathize and support new hire needs
- Experience with Dayforce or other HRM systems is an asset
- Working toward a HR, Business, or related post secondary program is an asset
- Ability to start the position quickly
