Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

*Position Overview*
Under the general direction of the Lab Coordinator, the incumbent is responsible for assessing how disease has affected the Cardio-Pulmonary System by conducting various Cardio-Pulmonary testing.

Experience

  • 2 years of experience as a Pulmonary Technician or as a Registered Respiratory Therapist required.

*Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)*

  • Successful completion of a recognized Pulmonary Technologist training program or an academic credential in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited Canadian program or a MARRT approved equivalent, if internationally educated.

*Certification/Licensure/Registration*

  • Registered and in good standing with the Canadian Association of Cardio-Pulmonary Technologists (CACPT) or will challenge and pass the CACPT examination within 2 years of hire.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Preference will be given to those applicants competent in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge in Indigenous customs, traditions and values.
