You will act as the on-site leader, guiding a diverse team while fostering strong relationships with residents, condo stakeholders, and community partners. With a mix of legacy residents and new homeowners, this opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments and takes pride in elevating both building performance and resident experience.

What's in it for You

You will step into a visible leadership role with the autonomy to shape operations, mentor a growing team, and influence the success of a transforming community. This organization values practical problem-solvers who lead with empathy and accountability.

With exposure to both stabilized assets and new development, you will gain experience that blends traditional property management with forward-looking community planning, all within a culture that values collaboration, service excellence, and continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities

  • You'll lead the day-to-day operations of assigned rental and shared condo facilities, ensuring high standards across maintenance, cleanliness, and safety.
  • You'll oversee and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, leasing staff, and administration professionals, fostering accountability and service excellence.
  • You'll manage building systems including HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and life safety, coordinating preventative and emergency maintenance as needed.
  • You'll serve as the primary escalation point for resident and owner concerns, resolving issues with professionalism and care.
  • You'll liaise with condo boards and external partners, ensuring compliance with governing legislation and shared facility agreements.
  • You'll monitor budgets, rent collection, vendor contracts, and operational performance to maintain financial health and cost control.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in property or condo management within residential or mixed-use environments.
  • Active CMRAO license with strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and Condo Act.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing multi-disciplinary site teams.
  • Practical understanding of building systems and hands-on operational troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills in diverse, high-density communities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management systems, Yardi considered an asset.
  • Valid G class drivers license and access to a personal vehicle.

Note from the Hiring Manager
