What You'll Do
- Oversee property and fixed asset records, including tracking, reporting, and reconciliations.
- Manage the preparation of financial statements, depreciation schedules, and related reporting requirements.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external auditors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Lead initiatives to improve reporting processes, system enhancements, and audit readiness.
- Provide guidance and oversight to team members on accounting policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional designation (CPA, CMA) is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with property, asset, or fixed asset accounting.
- Proficiency with financial and accounting systems; familiarity with enterprise platforms is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in highly governed or complex industries is considered an advantage.
