<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>Join to apply for the <b>Project Desk/LBM Associate</b> role at <b>Kent Building Supplies</b>.</p>
<p>As a Project Desk/LBM Associate, you will help customers understand their needs and assist in selecting the right products for their requirements. As knowledgeable sales professionals, sales associates can make recommendations that solve customers' problems and enhance their shopping experience.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge</li>
<li>Clarify and understand customers’ needs and take them to the best solution(s) for their projects</li>
<li>Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions</li>
<li>Take initiative and confidently direct customer interactions</li>
<li>Produce quotes, material lists, and follow up</li>
<li>Demonstrate high standards of safety and customer service</li>
<li>Resolve customer challenges quickly and efficiently</li>
<li>Continually learn about products and market conditions</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Excellent communication and team player</li>
<li>Sales and customer service experience</li>
<li>Possess a high level of attention to detail</li>
<li>Ability to lift 55 lbs</li>
<li>Ability to work days/evenings/weekends (rotating shifts)</li>
<li>Ability to learn and operate the applicable computer system (D635) used to process orders</li>
<li>Grade 12 diploma or equivalent considered an asset</li>
