This position is a hybrid role based in our Mississauga office with the opportunity to work 2 days remotely per week.
Responsibilities:
- Work as a liaison between vendors and the organization.
- Responsible for some back-end operations as well as connecting with the vendor and growing accounts.
- Drives strategic initiatives to identify, target, and acquire new customers, expanding market presence.
- Responsible for proactive cold calling to generate leads and managing existing accounts to ensure long-term client satisfaction and growth.
- Provides specialized consultative service and implements, drives, and maintains vendor programs, marketing, and training.
- Review and negotiate terms of vendor contracts and communicate with vendors regarding day-to-day matters.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and monitor vendor performance.
- Research invoice and contractual issues and resolve discrepancies.
What you bring to the role:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent is required.
- Minimum 3-4 years of account management experience & hunting for new business.
- Must be passionate and able to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Proficient in MS Office suite.
- Adept in managing escalations and supporting the vendor as needed.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, skilled presenter and articulate.
- Established and productive professional individual contributor.

The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is $65, ,000 per year. The ranges above reflect the potential annual starting base pay across all of Canada for all roles. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, including work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. This role is for an existing vacancy and will not use AI for screening applicants.
