We are looking for a Library characterization Product Specialist to be the technical interface to design engineers and managers on our key customer engagements. As a Library characterization Product Specialist your primary responsibility will be to support the technical development and deployment of our characterization solutions for standard cells and I/Os. You will be handling a wide range of technical issues, from spice simulations to advanced modelling of timing, noise and variation, working closely with our world-class field applications and engineering teams to enhance the accuracy, performance, and ease-of-use of our characterization solutions.
In this role you will…
Drive high ROI technical engagements and initiatives with our top tier customers.
Interface with the field team and the customer to understand technical requirements.
Collaborate with R&D and Product Engineering to develop methodologies and solutions.
Create technical presentations and documents to highlight product value proposition.
Directly engage with the customer to deploy tools and solutions.
Debug technical issues that block engagement and deployment.
File bug reports/enhancements and work closely with R&D to resolve them.
Focus on technical and customer success to help drive business growth.
Required skills, knowledge, and experience
Bachelor's degree (Master's degree a plus) or foreign academic equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
Experience with industry standard characterization tools
Familiar with .libs, including CCS timing/noise/power/variability.
Understand methodologies involved in characterization and validation of standard cells and I/Os.
Experience simulating nanometer analog designs with industry standard SPICE Simulators.
Knowledge of Asic design flow and basics of STA.
Familiar with EDA design environments (unix) and able to script in standard languages, including TCL.
Self-motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills.
Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others.
Flexible to work with remote teams located in several geographies and travel to customer sites.
