<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><strong>Job Title</strong>: Porter<p><strong>Location:</strong> Courtesy Ford Lincoln<br /><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.<br /><strong>Compensation:</strong> $19.00 per hour</p>Position Summary<p>Courtesy Ford Lincoln is seeking a reliable, friendly, and customer-focused <strong>Porter</strong> to support our Service department. This role is often the first point of contact for customers and plays an important part in ensuring a smooth, professional, and welcoming experience. The Porter position involves a combination of customer interaction, vehicle handling, and lot organization in both indoor and outdoor environments.</p>Key Responsibilities<ul><li><p>Greet and welcome incoming clients in a friendly and professional manner and direct them to the appropriate department or advisor</p></li><li><p>Apply protective materials (seat covers, floor mats, steering wheel covers, etc.) to incoming service vehicles</p></li><li><p>Park service vehicles appropriately and safely according to dealership procedures</p></li><li><p>Manage the car wash area and ensure vehicles are cleaned and ready for customer pickup</p></li><li><p>Retrieve and bring customer vehicles to the service drive when customers are checking out</p></li><li><p>Shuttle customers to and from nearby locations as required</p></li><li><p>Move vehicles between dealership locations and off-site lots as needed</p></li><li><p>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive, parking areas, and vehicle storage areas</p></li><li><p>Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies when operating vehicles</p></li></ul>Requirements & Qualifications<ul><li><p>Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record</p></li><li><p>Ability to drive both <strong>automatic and manual transmission vehicles</strong></p></li><li><p>Friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor with strong customer service skills</p></li><li><p>Comfortable working <strong>indoors and outdoors</strong> in varying weather conditions</p></li><li><p>Ability to safely operate a wide range of vehicles</p></li><li><p>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions</p></li><li><p>Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team</p></li><li><p>Ability to walk, stand, and be on your feet for extended periods</p></li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li><p>Steady, full-time weekday schedule (no weekends)</p></li><li><p>Competitive hourly wage</p></li><li><p>Supportive team environment</p></li><li><p>Opportunity to work in a professional automotive dealership setting</p></li><li><p>Benefits</p></li><li><p>Free parking</p></li><li><p>Company Discounts</p></li></ul></p></p>
