We offer a wide range of world-renowned pilot training options, from recurrent training through to advanced flight techniques as well as personnel and cargo transportation services to a variety of industries.</p>Job Description<br><br><p>We are currently looking for a pilot instructor to perform advanced mountain training, aircraft type and emergency training, vertical reference / water bucket training, basic and advanced NVG training and night rating.</p><p>Here are the detailed responsibilities of the role:</p><ul><li>Provide high-quality flight instruction to military and civilian students, ensuring safety, proficiency, and adherence to Transport Canada/FAA regulations.</li><li>Conduct both ground and in-flight training sessions for students at various experience levels.</li><li>Create and execute customized lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and progress.</li><li>Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.</li><li>Ensure proper maintenance of aircraft by conducting pre- and post-flight inspections and reporting any issues.</li><li>Maintain accurate and thorough student records, including flight logs and performance evaluations.</li><li>Stay updated on industry best practices, aviation standards, and changes in regulations.</li><li>Foster a professional and encouraging learning environment that promotes safety and confidence.</li><li>Conduct check rides, practical exams, and assist students in preparing for certification or course completion.</li><li>Coordinate with flight school staff to schedule lessons, aircraft, and other resources efficiently.</li></ul>Qualifications<br><br><p><strong>We are looking for a candidate with the following experience and skills</strong>:</p><ul><li>3000 to 5000+ hrs with an extensive operational background</li><li>2500 hrs minimum mountain experience</li><li>Type ratings on Bell 407,AS350 – H125, EC120</li><li>Longline Proficient</li><li>Instructional background, teach both in the classroom and the aircraft</li><li>Working in a team-oriented environment</li><li>Self starter / takes initiative</li><li>Word/Excel/PDF/ PowerPoint – Proficient </li><li>Can work night shifts (NVG training or on contract)</li><li>English and Spanish speaking</li></ul><br><br>Additional Information<br><br><p><strong>Salary</strong></p><ul><li>Topflight offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications</li></ul><p><strong>Working for Topflight is:</strong></p><ul><li>A unique occasion to grow professionally in a dynamic environment full of opportunities.</li><li>Working with passionate, committed people who enjoy surpassing themselves.</li><li>Being part of an organizational culture based on fundamental principles.</li><li>Having an employer of choice offering competitive working conditions.</li></ul><p>For more information we invite you to visit our website: <span >https://www.topflightelite.ca/</span></p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
