Pick-Up & Delivery Night, G-Class Driver

G-Class Driver London, ON (2 years experience must)

• G Class Night Driver: $26.27/per hour + $1.00 premium
• Shift: 11:30 PM - 10:00 AM Monday to Friday
• Must have min 2 years experience (required 5 ton truck)

Cardinal Couriers is looking for motivated, professional and safety-oriented drivers to join our team. This position is responsible for loading orders into an assigned company vehicle and delivering the parcel following a predetermined route, ensuring that all deliveries are made safely and on time. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced environment that requires driving, lifting, lowering, and carrying packages to ensure damage free delivery.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Complete pick-ups and deliveries throughout the evening for pre 8am parcel deliveries/pick-ups.
• Load and unload freight; requires repetitive lifting of up to 70 lbs
• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and operate company equipment safely, complying with all applicable road safety rules and regulations
• Scan parcels at multiple points throughout the pickup and delivery process
• Daily submission and completion of all required documentation in an accurate manner
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and sub trades

Who you are:

• Minimum G License: 2 years (required 5 ton truck)
• Minimum 2-3 years of commercial driving experience
• Clean Ontario driver abstract and CVOR report.
• Valid Ontario Commercial driver's license in good standing
• Clear criminal record check
• Previous warehouse shipping/receiving experience.
• Perform responsibilities safely, in accordance with company polices.
• Independent and self-starter
• Exceptional communication and multi-tasking skills
• Comfortable meeting deadlines
• Comfortable and capable to lift up to 70 lbs.
• You keep an organized and clean environment.

Shift:

• 11:30 PM - 10:00 AM
