<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>PHP Developer</p><p>Canada Remote</p><p>Contract</p><h3>Required skills</h3><ul><li>PHP core focus</li><li>Golang</li><li>Tech stack : GCP / AWS</li><li>MySQL</li></ul><h3>Role Details</h3><p>We are seeking a Software Engineer Video who will help drive our systems evolution to join our team The role will be an integral part of the Video Streaming and Operations team working with video tech engineers to build and release products for various platforms like Desktop OTT Mobile The candidate will also be responsible for doing minimal video quality check building deploying and managing media encoding applications in cloud AWS / GCP</p><h3>Your DaytoDay</h3><p>Work with other engineers to maintain and evolve our media encoding platform</p><p>Work with the team on building out cloudbased microservices to support video processing workflows</p><p>Help build out the Partner SVOD Delivery pipeline to Apple Amazon Youtube etc</p><p>Field questions and requests from site publishers regarding encoding playback</p><p>Work with other developers and Operations team on streamlining our encoding pipeline</p><p>Encourage an engineering culture that promotes testdriven development and code coverage</p><h3>Key Projects</h3><p><b>Automating SVOD video delivery pipeline</b></p><p>Collaborate with team on feature requests and improvement around media encoding solutions</p><p>Work with the development team on a central logging and monitoring solution like New Relic Datadog Sumologic etc</p><p>Asset Ingestion workflow improvements and debugging jobs and workflows</p><p>Work with development teams on rearchitecturemodernizing existing systems into the cloud</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>What you bring to the team</p><p><b>You have</b></p><p>3 years of experience as a Software Engineer</p><p>BS degree in Computer Science similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience</p><p>Experience working with Cloud/SaaS services such as Amazon AWS Google Cloud</p><p>Experience in programming languages such as PHP GoLang Python</p><p>Experience working with relational databases MySQL PSQL MSSQL etc</p><p>Strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skills</p><p><b>You might also have</b></p><p>Experience with video codecs AVC HEVC VP9 AV1 etc and audio codecs AAC EAC EC3 Atmos etc</p><h3>Key Skills</h3><p>MVC,CSS,HTML5,AJAX,Apache,LAMP Stack,Drupal,MySQL,JavaScript,PHP,GIT,Wordpress</p><p>Employment Type : Full-time</p><p>Experience : years</p><p>Vacancy : 1</p></p> #J-18808-Ljbffr
