Exciting opportunity to join a well‑established and dynamic Pediatric Hospitalist Group in Bellingham, WA!


Ideal Candidate



  • Board Certified Pediatric MD/DO with at least 2 years of post‑training experience that includes hospital work


Practice Highlights



  • Pediatric Hospitalists provide in‑house 24/7 coverage for Whatcom County's only community hospital, St. Joseph Medical Center (Level II Trauma)

  • Scope of care includes Pediatric Unit, Newborn Nursery, Level II Special Care Nursery, delivery attendance, and ER support

  • Growing program will include coverage with a second daytime hospitalists – shifts will include 12‑hour day shifts, 12‑hour night shifts, and 9‑hour day shifts

  • Physicians are experienced, collegial, supportive, and focused on high‑quality, evidence‑based medicine

  • Robust primary care team, strong continuity of care from inpatient to outpatient

  • EPIC EMR

PeaceHealth's Whatcom Region also includes the comprehensive heart care services of the Cardiovascular Center at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center as well as the primary and specialty care provided by PeaceHealth Medical Group.



  • Guaranteed first‑year income (based on a 1.0 FTE): $251,264.00

  • Employment Bonus / Relocation Stipend / Education Loan Reimbursement program

  • Robust Clinician Wellbeing Program

  • CME: up to $3,300 per calendar year for CME (based on 1.0 FTE)
