Key Responsibilities for Part-Time Controller role:
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
- The Part-Time Controller will manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Evaluate and enhance accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Provide financial insights and collaborate with leadership on strategy.
- The Part-Time Controller will supervise and support accounting staff as needed.
- Assist with tax planning and coordinate with external auditors.
Preferred Qualifications for Part-Time Controller role:
- CPA or equivalent experience preferred.
- 10+ years of accounting/finance experience, ideally in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Ability to work independently and provide strategic financial insights.
