Ancaster Family Dentistry is seeking an experienced, skilled Dentist to join our thriving practice. Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning

Perform routine and complex dental procedures including restorative dentistry, crown and bridge work

Conduct endodontic procedures, with particular emphasis on molar endodontics

Perform surgical extractions and other oral surgery procedures within scope of practice

Develop and present comprehensive treatment plans to patients

Interpret dental radiographs and other diagnostic tests

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to ensure efficient patient flow

Stay current with emerging dental techniques, technologies, and best practices

Participate in staff meetings and contribute to practice development initiatives

Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and privacy laws

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree

Current dental license to practice in Ontario

2-3 years of clinical experience as a practicing dentist

Demonstrated proficiency in endodontic procedures, especially molar endodontics

Experience with surgical extractions

Excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Detail-oriented with excellent manual dexterity

Foreign dental graduates with appropriate Canadian certifications are welcome
