We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Operations Associate who thrives in a fast-paced retail and e-commerce environment.

Role Overview

The Operations Associate plays a critical role in daily store operations. This role combines customer engagement, order fulfillment, inventory organization, and maintaining a clean, professional retail space.

You will work directly with trading card inventory, assist customers in-store and online, and ensure every order is prepared accurately and professionally.

Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement

• Greet and assist customers in-store with product inquiries
• Provide basic guidance on products
• Help customers locate singles, sealed product, and accessories
• Support live events, tournaments, or promotional days
• Deliver a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional experience

Order Fulfillment (E-Commerce & In-Store)

• Pick and pack online orders accurately
• Verify card condition before shipment
• Sleeve, top-load, team-bag, and package cards securely
• Prepare shipping labels and organize outgoing parcels
• Handle local pickup orders
• Assist with inventory restocking
• Accuracy and attention to detail are critical — many orders involve high-value collectible cards

Card Organization & Inventory

• Sort, alphabetize, and organize singles by set and rarity
• Maintain binder organization and display cases
• Assist with intake of new inventory and trade-ins
• Help update inventory systems when required
• Maintain back-of-house storage organization
• Experience with TCGPlayer, Shopify, or POS systems is a plus but not required

Store Maintenance & Cleanliness

• Keep retail space clean and organized daily
• Wipe down display cases and surfaces
• Organize shipping and packing stations
• Take initiative in maintaining a professional retail environment
• Assist with light cleaning duties
• We maintain a collector-grade environment — presentation matters

Qualifications

Required:

• Strong attention to detail
• Organized and process-driven
• Comfortable handling collectibles carefully
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Basic computer proficiency

Preferred (but not required):

• Interest in trading cards (Pokémon, Weiss, Gundam, etc.)
• Retail or e-commerce experience
• Experience handling collectibles
• Familiarity with grading standards (PSA/BGS) is a plus
