Job Description
<p><b>Mandate :</b></p><p>Reporting to the Senior Manager, National Release Operations the National Release Manager is responsible for overseeing after-hours release operations to ensure timely and compliant customs processing.</p><p><b>Responsibilities :</b></p><ul><li>Monitoring dashboards and branch queues, resolving customs rejects, distributing workload with specific focus on driving customs teams to meet service standards</li><li>Conducting secondary audits on regulated shipments</li><li>Managing urgent release requests</li><li>Monitoring and communicating system outages</li><li>Ensuring accurate transmission of entries under hard-stop conditions</li><li>Acting as the main point of contact for shipment-specific issues, triages carrier and client inquiries, escalating concerns to management when required.</li></ul><p><b>Requirements :</b></p><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in the Customs Brokerage industry</li><li>College Diploma in International Transportation & Customs or related field is preferred</li><li>Experience with staff management is considered an asset</li><li>Strong knowledge of Canadian customs regulations & trade processes and programs</li><li>CCS, CTCS, LCB designations are preferred</li><li>Experience inCargoWise One system, or related brokerage systems is considered an asset</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office</li><p><b>What You Offer :</b></p><li>Ability to work independently (drive and self-starter / self-managed) and in a team environment</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and capability of motivating your team to ensure successful mandate completion</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li><li>Exceptional customer service skills</li><li>Extremely detail-oriented and organized</li><p><b>What We Offer :</b></p><li>Equal opportunity employer</li><li>Competitive compensation</li><li>Comprehensive Benefits package, including fitness reimbursement program(s)</li><li>Education Reimbursement Program</li><li>Balance between work and home life</li>Create Your Resume First
