<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><strong>Job Description</strong><p>We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in transformer design and electrical engineering. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and optimization of oil-filled distribution and power transformers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.</p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Design single and three-phase oil-filled distribution transformers (up to 3MVA, 34.5kV) and power transformers (up to 15MVA, 69kV) in accordance with CSA/IEEE standards and customer requirements.</li><li>Develop transformer core and winding configurations, including wound and stacked core designs.</li><li>Maintain and manage a database of conductor and insulating materials for warehouse inventory.</li><li>Collaborate with the engineering team to analyze and enhance existing transformer products.</li><li>Prepare engineering deliverables and time-based schedules to support project planning and budget control.</li><li>Maintain and update project scope documentation throughout the design lifecycle.</li><li>Review and implement electrical and layout design criteria.</li><li>Evaluate technical deliverables such as specifications, datasheets, and drawings.</li><li>Assist in the development of project-specific engineering procedures.</li><li>Define system requirements to meet project objectives and monitor their effectiveness.</li><li>Represent the electrical engineering discipline in project coordination meetings.</li><li>Participate in design reviews and transformer testing, including routine and special tests.</li><li>Ensure all electrical engineering work complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and relevant safety standards.</li></ul><p><strong>MUST HAVE: </strong>Experience with transformer design </p><p><strong>MUST HAVE: </strong>Experience working with high voltages </p><p><strong>Pay and Benefits</strong></p><p>The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $58.00/hr.</p><p><strong>Workplace Type</strong></p><p>This is a fully onsite position in Oakville,ON.</p><p></p><p></p>À propos d&#39;Actalent: <p> Actalent est un chef de file mondial des services d’ingénierie et de sciences et des solutions de talents.
