<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>We are seeking an accomplished Manufacturing Manager to lead our CNC machining operations at our 120,000 sq. ft. advanced manufacturing facility in Toronto. This is more than a supervisory role, it’s a leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on driving performance, building high- functioning teams, and delivering complex machined components to some of the most demanding industries in the world.<br><br><strong>Your Mission</strong><br><br>As the Manufacturing Manager, you will oversee the strategic and day-to-day operations of our machining department. You’ll ensure precision, from scheduling to execution, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and accountability. You’ll collaborate across departments, guide your team’s development, and implement processes that make our operations stronger, leaner, and more effective.<br><br><strong>What You’ll Lead and Deliver</strong><br><br> Direct all aspects of production scheduling to ensure timely, quality-driven delivery to customers.<br /> Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations, ensuring a safe, productive workplace.<br /> Oversee staffing and workforce planning, manage shift schedules, vacation planning, and skill deployment.<br /> Use data-driven insights to evaluate departmental performance and implement corrective actions.<br /> Collaborate with quality, engineering, and production control to align priorities and resolve bottlenecks.<br /> Champion employee training and development, maintaining a robust skills matrix and onboarding program.<br /> Lead continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing efforts with measurable outcomes.<br /> Act as a cross-functional liaison to expedite work orders and maintain manufacturing momentum.<br /> Manage administrative tasks including timekeeping, payroll approvals, and vacation tracking.<br /> Drive a culture of engagement, coaching, and performance management with a focus on team success.<br><br><strong>What You Bring</strong><br><br> Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, with a strong preference for CNC machining environments.<br /> Expertise in production scheduling, workflow optimization, and shop-floor operations.<br /> Demonstrated success in managing teams, building training programs, and fostering accountability.<br /> Strong working knowledge of safety, compliance, and quality systems; AS9100, ISO9001, or NADCAP experience is an asset.<br /> Confident decision-making skills, strong conflict resolution, and clear communication at all levels.<br /> Technical aptitude with hands-on knowledge of machine tools, precision measuring, and machining practices.<br /> A mindset of continuous improvement, backed by the ability to analyze data, implement changes, and lead with purpose.<br><br>***Only qualified candidates who meet all of requirements will be considered for this opportunity.<br><br><strong>Salary Range</strong>: Up to $130k</p></p>Create Your Resume First
