<p><h3>Overview</h3><p><b>Job Title:</b> Manufacturing Engineering Manager</p><p><b>Location:</b> Calgary, Alberta</p><p><b>Job Type:</b> C2C / W2</p><p><b>Job Description:</b></p><p>We are seeking a seasoned <b>Manufacturing Engineering Manager</b> with over 15+ years of experience to lead our Calgary-based team in delivering high-performance HVAC systems for data centre applications. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on engineering expertise to drive operational excellence and client satisfaction for Modine.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><h3>Leadership & Team Management</h3><ul><li>Organize and structure the manufacturing engineering team for optimal performance.</li><li>Set clear priorities and align team efforts with project milestones and client expectations.</li><li>Provide both strategic direction and hands-on technical support across engineering activities.</li></ul><h3>Manufacturing Operations</h3><ul><li>Lead process development and optimization for HVAC system production.</li><li>Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to improve throughput and reduce waste.</li><li>Oversee line setup, workflow design, and production scaling.</li></ul><h3>Technical Execution</h3><ul><li>Ensure robust fixture design for manufacturing processes; delegate design tasks to India-based teams when appropriate.</li><li>Collaborate with Modine’s engineering and product teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance with specifications.</li><li>Support new product introductions (NPIs) and continuous improvement efforts.</li></ul><h3>Quality & Compliance</h3><ul><li>Maintain high standards of product quality and regulatory compliance.</li><li>Implement process controls and documentation for traceability and audit readiness.</li></ul><h3>Required Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.</li><li>Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, including 3+ years in a managerial role.</li><li><b>Proven experience in HVAC systems or thermal management technologies</b>.</li><li>Strong foundation in lean manufacturing and throughput optimization.</li><li>Hands-on experience or oversight in fixture design and tooling.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Skills</h3><ul><li><b>Experience with data center infrastructure or mission-critical cooling systems.</b></li><li><b>Familiarity with Modine products or prior collaboration with Modine.</b></li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively with global teams, including engineering support from India</li></ul><h3>Product Focus</h3><p><b>Product Focus:</b> Data Center HVAC Systems</p><p><b>Experience Required:</b> 15+ year</p></p>
