We are a growth orientated company with our head office located in Toronto, Ontario and property operations in British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, and Nova Scotia.<br><br>MetCap Living Management Inc. is currently seeking a Maintenance <span >Technician/Handyman</span> for residential high-rise in Barrie, ON.<br /> <br />Duties:<ul><li>Troubleshoot general common area repairs.</li><li>Repair and replace general hardware.</li><li>Handling basic repairs and maintenance in residential apartments and common area</li><li>Ability to perform preventative maintenance and minor fixes like broken locks, faucet replacements, light fixture replacement, wall preparation, plaster, paint and unplugging toilets and sinks.</li><li>Ability to request and supervise contractors.</li></ul>Skills, knowledge, and abilities required:<ul><li>Highly observant and responsive.</li><li>Ability to solve problems.</li><li>Good time management.</li><li>Knowledge of electrical work.</li><li>Knowledge of plumbing work.</li><li>Good knowledge of carpentry work, repairing cabinetry, drawers, doors, and wood floor repairs</li><li>Positive attitude to work.</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks.</li><li>Ability to follow instructions.</li></ul>We require criminal record check upon offer of contract.
