Location: Brampton, ON

Shift: Day Shift (with On‑Call Responsibilities)

Industry: Pharmaceutical / cGMP (Preferred)

Salary: $110,000 – $140,000


Kelly Services is partnering with a leading manufacturing organization in Brampton to hire an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Manager. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader with strong technical expertise and a proven ability to lead, coach, and develop people. We’re looking for someone who not only understands maintenance operations, but who can build a high‑performing team, drive accountability, and foster a culture of safety, communication, and continuous improvement.

The Manager, Maintenance & Facility will oversee all maintenance and facility operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant performance of plant equipment, utilities, and systems. Working closely with production, this leader will play a key role in maximizing uptime, supporting project delivery, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and reliability.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance and facilities teams, ensuring strong communication, performance, and engagement.
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate all maintenance activities across departments.
  • Build and execute a best‑practice maintenance program with a strong focus on planning, scheduling, and preventive/predictive maintenance.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance supplies.
  • Support new business initiatives, equipment onboarding, and process upgrades.
  • Provide clear project updates, including milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement coaching, training, and corrective action when needed.
  • Monitor plant equipment and systems to reduce unplanned downtime and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and enforce safety programs, training, and compliance for all maintenance personnel.
  • Partner with production to coordinate repairs, maintenance activities, and plant cleanliness.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
  • Ensure all work complies with SOPs, cGMP, regulatory standards, and health & safety legislation.
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, transparency, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform additional duties as required.


What You Bring

  • University or college degree in a technical field; CET or equivalent designation is an asset.
  • 5–10 years of leadership experience in maintenance and facilities within a cGMP or similarly regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing and developing people—able to motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable with day‑shift leadership and on‑call responsibilities.
