Job Overview <br />We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lumber Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle various driving conditions.<br /><br /> Duties <br /><br /> Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner.<br /> Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.<br /> Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays.<br /> Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.<br /> Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.<br /> Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.<br /><br /> Qualifications <br /><br /> Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.<br /> A clean drivers abstract and be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.<br /> Valid passport.<br /> Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in automotive repair situations.<br /> Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.<br /> Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on the road.<br /><br /> What we offer <br /><br /> Monday to Friday schedule<br /> Competitive wages with semi monthly pay<br /> Benefits after 3 months<br /> Year round full time employment<br /> Safety and Maintenance bonus<br /> Late model equipment<br /><br />If you're somebody that is okay with being the road the majority of the week, but also being home each day (determined on a week to week basis) while hauling into central Alberta and the neighboring United States (Washington, Idaho, Montana) join our team today as a Lumber Truck Driver, where you can contribute your skills in a dynamic environment while ensuring the safe delivery of goods across various locations!<br /><br />Job Type: Full-time<br /><br />Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year<br /><br />Benefits:<br /> Dental care<br /> Extended health care<br /> Paid time off<br /> Vision care<br /><br />Work Location: On the road
