A supportive living care home in Red Deer County, Alberta is seeking a passionate and dedicated LPN Care Team Supervisor to join our team. This is a unionized care home with excellent benefits and a supportive leadership team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the healthcare of all residents, including communication with families and staff.
- Assist the Nursing Leadership Team with medication management, including administration and ordering.
- Provide direct supervision of care provided by LPNs and Care Aides.
- Foster a homelike atmosphere for residents.
- Ensure all residents are treated with respect and dignity.
- Train and educate care team and nursing staff on an ongoing basis.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Completion of Practical Nurse program from an accredited educational institution.
- Full scope of practice Licensed Practical Nurse with membership in good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta.
- Minimum of two years experience supervising care delivery in a supportive living care environment.
- Strong desire to enhance the lives of seniors.
- Computer literate and familiar with electronic health records.
- Current and clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.

- Conveniently situated on the Calgary-Edmonton Corridor, Innisfail is a thriving mid-sized community just 15 minutes south of Red Deer and an hour north of Calgary. Reliable transportation is required.
