<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>HVAC Technician</strong></p><p>We&#39;re looking for a dedicated and skilled <strong>HVAC Technician</strong> to join our growing team. You will play an integral role in ensuring the safety and optimal operation of HVAC systems for our diverse clientele. We value team players who are dependable, meticulous, and committed to excellent customer service.</p><p><strong>Locations:</strong> Kingston, Brantford, Ottawa, Cambridge, Sarnia, London</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Installation & Maintenance:</strong> Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about customers and their equipment. Ensure the safe operation of all new installations and correctly instruct customers on proper care, maintenance, and operation.</p></li><li><p><strong>Safety & Compliance:</strong> Adhere to all required safety protocols and standards, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (<strong>PPE</strong>). Complete required documentation and comply with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.</p></li><li><p><strong>Service & Repair:</strong> Perform diagnostics, troubleshoot issues, and complete repairs on various HVAC systems, following manufacturer specifications and local codes.</p></li><li><p><strong>Customer Service:</strong> Maintain a positive, courteous, and professional attitude when interacting with customers, demonstrating your ability to communicate, problem-solve, and ensure customer satisfaction.</p></li><li><p><strong>Vehicle & Tools:</strong> Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and accounted for.</p></li><li><p><strong>Teamwork:</strong> Actively participate in team-building, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.</p></li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>What We&#39;re Looking For</strong></p><p><strong>Essential Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.</p></li><li><p><strong>MUST BE LICENSED: Valid 313D HVAC Technician or Installer License is required.</strong></p></li><li><p>Must hold a valid <strong>Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card</strong> (Ontario or equivalent).</p></li><li><p>Must have a valid <strong>Gas Fitter 3 (GF3) certificate</strong> or working towards a <strong>GF2 certificate</strong> (Ontario or equivalent).</p></li><li><p>Must have strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.</p></li><li><p>Must be able to lift up to <strong>35 kg</strong> up to shoulder height, including climbing, operating equipment, and working inside and outside in all types of weather within environments that can include dust and solvents.</p></li><li><p>Must possess a valid <strong>Driver&#39;s License (G Class in Ontario)</strong> and a clean driving record.</p></li><li><p>Must have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>Must be punctual and dependable.</p></li><li><p>Willing to undergo necessary background checks.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Experience (Asset)</strong></p><ul><li><p>3–5 years of field experience in service of water coolers, bottleless water systems, or other HVAC equipment would be an asset.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in low-voltage <span >electrical/electronic</span> systems (e.g., thermostat wiring).</p></li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>The Work Environment</strong></p><p>You will be joining a supportive and dedicated team committed to providing exceptional service.
