OFF SEASON INTERNSHIP ( OCTOBER – MARCH: WITH POTENTIAL IN-SEASON EXTENSION )

Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in managing inbound and outbound ticket sales inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Promote and sell tickets for events, or games by effectively communicating event details to customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth ticket purchasing experience.
  • Help in the preparation and distribution of promotional materials to boost ticket sales.
  • Support the ticket sales team with day-to-day operations, including order processing and reporting.
  • Collaborate with marketing to identify opportunities for increasing ticket sales through promotions, social media, and outreach initiatives.
  • Attend and assist with on-site sales during events, including box office duties, scanning tickets, and addressing customer concerns.
  • Participate in sales training sessions and weekly team meetings to refine your selling techniques.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Sales Manager or Director of Sales.


Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, Communications, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • Strong interest in sales, customer service, and the event/entertainment industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with customers and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and during events.
