Job Summary


Paid KUER RadioWest Winter 2024-2025 Internship. KUER 90.1, Utah’s largest NPR affiliate, is seeking an ambitious student for an intensive, spring semester production internship with RadioWest, KUER’s premiere bi-weekly program.



Responsibilities

RadioWest is KUER’s flagship, bi-weekly interview program.

The intern will learn behind-the-scenes radio production by providing administrative and technical support for the show. Duties include audio editing, show research, listener services, social media, database management, audio archive maintenance and other tasks as assigned.



The position requires a commitment of 12-16 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications


Prior radio production experience is not necessary, but excellent computer and research skills, as well as a strong curiosity about the news, are essential.

Preferred applicants should be highly collaborative and open to feedback.


Students should be juniors or seniors, although highly experienced lowerclassmen may be considered.

Students can be from any major.
