Job Summary
We are hiring a Kitchen Manager or supervisor at Tako, a long-loved Mexican–Korean fusion restaurant in Vancouver.
We work in a fun and energetic environment with a young and passionate team.
Work Location
- Right in front of Stadium–Chinatown Station
- 1-minute walk from downtown Costco
Main Duties
- Cooking and food preparation
- Ingredient prep and hygiene management
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and managing the team
- Helping Staff training
- Helping Scheduling
- Helping Ordering supplies
Working Conditions
- Pay determined after interview + vacation pay + tips
- Staff meals and employee discounts provided
Requirements
- Must have a valid work permit
- Able to communicate in English (we have foreign staff)
- Kitchen experience preferred
- Food Safety certification
- Responsible and a strong team player
