Job Duties:

  • Removal and re-installation of existing insulation to facilitate NDT.
  • Assist in mechanical maintenance (Ice removal, bulb replacements, piping install, etc.)
  • Installation of inspection ports

Required Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal candidate will have the following certifications and experience:
  • Journeyman Insulator - Proof of ticket required.
  • IRATA rope access certification.
  • Asbestos Ticket preferred.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Some travel (including overnight stays out of town) may be required.

Safety Requirements:

  • Fall Arrest training required.
  • Current H2S Alive certification required.
  • Current CSE Level 1 and First Aid with CPR would be considered an asset.
  • Steel-toe boots are required; IRISNDT will provide additional PPE.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Health benefits that meet or exceed industry standards will be provided after a 3-month probationary period.


Legal entitlement to work in Canada is mandatory. All potential employees will be required to complete a pre-employment alcohol and drug screening.
