What you'll be doing:
- General maintenance, repairs, services, and diagnosis primarily on Toyota vehicles.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify vehicle issues
- Execute repair order tasks efficiently and accurately, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards and customer expectation.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify additional safety or service needs, provide accurate recommendations based on assessments and scheduled maintenance intervals.
- Documentation of all findings, inspection results, and service actions proficiently in compliance with company and manufacturer policies.
- Communicate clearly and accurately with other team members to ensure a smooth servicing process.
- Road testing vehicles as required to identify concerns and ensure quality control
- Remain update to date on product knowledge, manufacturer updates, bulletins and recalls, and technical training.
- Maintain a clean, presentable, and safe working area in line with company standards.
- Maintain efficiency standards in accordance with company policies.
What we need from you:
- Must have valid Red Seal Technician certification
- Prior history and knowledge with Toyota vehicles considered an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Have a valid British Columbia driver's license.
- Be capable of driving manual transmission vehicles.
- Follow published diagnostic and repair procedures to ensure safe and accurate completion of repairs.
- Willingness to adhere to departmental, company, and manufacturer policies and procedures.
- Commitment to providing a consistently high level of customer service.
