As one of Canadas Best Employers and Best Managed Companies, we are looking for team players who are excited to continually learn, work hard, and take ownership of their role.</p><p></p><p>If you love the idea of joining an organization with unlimited possibilities to accelerate your career, then apply to OpenRoad and grow with us today!</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>A Career at OpenRoad Means Youll Enjoy:</strong></p><ul><li>Opportunity to work with a variety of OEM BRANDS including; Acura Audi, BMW, Genesis, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, Subaru, Toyota, Volkswagen</li><li>Amazing Incentives including but not limited to: Discounted Vehicle Purchasing Program, Boot Allowance, Computer Rebate Program, Employee Referral Program, Employer RRSP Matching</li><li>Internal and external, training & development opportunities for skill-development and growth</li><li>Be part of a collaborative, friendly and progressive work-culture with an emphasis on transparency, innovation, relationship and empowerment</li><li>Comprehensive extended health and dental plan, tailored around Associate wellness</li><li>Recognition and Engagement Events!</li></ul><p><strong>ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong><br /></p><ul><li>Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to<br />computer systems, software and hardware</li><li>Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical problems for end-users in a<br />timely manner.</li><li>Install, configure and maintain computer systems, peripherals and software</li><li>Perform the routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates and backups,<br />equipment inventory, endpoint protection software.</li><li>Assist with onboarding and offboarding process for employees, including setting up<br />the workstations and software.</li><li>Collaborate with senior IT staff to resolve complex issues and escalate when<br />necessary.</li><li>Document and track technical issues and resolutions using the ticketing system</li><li>Maintain and manage the CCTV system across all dealerships, including exporting<br />footage when requested.</li><li>Coordinate with external <span >contractors/suppliers</span> for computer peripheral repairs</li><li>Provide the first-level network support for onsite devices (Wireless AP, POS Media<br />Player, Router, Switch, etc.)</li><li>Manage phone system support, including adding, changing or deleting extensions<br />and hardware.</li><li>Maintain accurate IT documentation through the change management process.</li><li>Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a positive relationship with end-users.</li><li>Participate in the on-call rotation after business hour.</li></ul><p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:</strong></p><ul><li>Certificate or College Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering<br />Technology or related discipline</li><li>2+ years experience in IT helpdesk/support experience in a multi-site environment</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li><li>Experience troubleshooting with Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Office and<br />computer hardware</li><li>Solid understanding of networking knowledge including IPv4/IPv6, DHCP, and DNS.</li><li>Familiarity with MDM, virtualization technology (VMware), backup solutions (Veeam,<br />Wasabi) is an asset.</li><li>Valid Class 5 Drivers License required</li></ul><p>Internal Candidates MUST apply by filling out theInternal Endorsement Form<br />on SharePoint.
